Age of Aquarius: A Styled Shoot by The Luminists

“Age of Aquarius” is a styled shoot dreamt up by the creative genius Corey Lynn Tucker and hosted by her photography education and workshop company The Luminists.

We were so excited when Corey asked us to be a part of it! She is a dear friend and an incredibly talented photographer, so we knew it was going to be an amazing shoot.

Corey assembled an all-star team of vendors to make this shoot possible. From the dresses, florals, and makeup to the linen, paper goods, and flatware; no detail was left unturned.

The vibe of the day was one of lightheartedness, creative exploration, and genuine connection. The shoot felt so dreamy, we really wanted to reflect that in our edits. One of our biggest inspirations when creating films is light. Soft light, hard light, natural light, the way it shapes faces and enhances skin. Corey’s studio had the most beautiful soft natural light streaming in through her large windows, it was perfect.

Despite meeting for the first time that day, the connection between Jaquelyn and Letrell was incredible, you’d think they’ve had known each other for a lifetime. In addition to this being their first meeting, it was also Letrell’s first time modeling! He performed like a seasoned pro.

We knew this would be a perfect shoot to incorporate some super 8mm film, and boy did it turn out gorgeous! Check out below a video we put together with just the super 8mm footage.
